Isara Virelle: blue hair, blue eyes, pale-skinned, with a scared burned of Nayari daughter to Thalen Virelle, Nyaren blood mixed with Ravenorn blood. Distancing has always been her move, closing herself off from other people; she’s sneery, she’s persistent, a threadwright in Ring Six.
Niko Veyshar: tan skin, white hair, gray eyes; wears a mask that covers the lower half of his face with two swords behind his back; a recruit from Rathvenorn (Veilwalker to lead Ring Six. Strict preserver; he loves reading romantic novels and stays aware of his surroundings, but around Isa he becomes protective and possessiv, but he kept something from her a big betrayal.
Zahra Noquinn, black hair, dark-skinned,d long hair on the left side of her face, neck length, a vowbearer in Ring Six.
Merrick Vale: short brown hair and light hazel eyes; built, muscled, and thick-corded, a vowearer in Ring Six. Legitimate son of a member councilman to Senrik Vale and son to Ravyn Brinry. He’s quirky, always makes you laugh and grin; you’ll love him with his quirkiness, caring, looking out for the Ring even though he’s been through a rough childhood, and he does something at the end of the book that was so unforgivable.
Cael Terenzi: tall, lean, round glasses, spiky blond hair, green eyes, threadwright in Ring Six. Not made for fighting, but he’s smart and knows a lot about plants.
Casa Vayne (threadmarked): tan-skinned, blond hair, dimples, amber eyes. Best friend and casual hookup situation; he’s very nonchalant, cool, and collected from Ring ten.
Eryn Solthame (Lorebinder): soft pink hair braided and tied with a ribbon, brown eyes, petite features. She’s the most knowledgeable person you can confide in to find answers.
Elarin Solen: in her fifties, dark hair, member of the council, legal guardian to Isara Virelle
Senrik Vale: a member of the council, father to Merikk Vale, too pale face, black mustache, black oily hair.
Councilman Otasi, in his fifties, white beard. He is tolerable.
Commander Raithe: layered in black, wears a porcelain mask, one gray eye empty. One side of his hair is cropped so close to his hairline that the other side is long and threaded.
Commander Lenore Ashari, early thirties, tall, lean, bronze-skinned, long braid, silver streaks, sharp dark eyes, faint scar on her lower lip, leader of Ring Ten.
Lisinya Blaise, red-haired, from Ring Ten.
Bri Niserth, green-haired, from Ring Ten.
Masouri Herith, tall with deep green eyes, from Ring Ten
Saerith Tilny, warm presence, nut brown hair, thick frame from Ring ten.
Mrs korren red haired mother to Tobbin and Brynn, wife to Ilya Korren.
Mr Korren, thick brown beard and shaggy hair, father to Tobbin and Brynn, husband to Kessa Korren.
Maven: tall, lanky, green hair, hazel eyes, decent jawline.
Priest Mistcradle: tall, layered robes, smoky and silver, long braid dark then light, dark-skinned, pale eyes
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The writing had an easy-going pace, and I was skimming through the book. I love the Ring Ten; it formed a family Isa grew to love since she’s always been alone. And at the end of the book, I didn’t want it to end; I was speechless, and I wanted to scream because of how J. A Good left me hanging like that. The book was amazing; I loved it. It’s filled with elemental magic, betrayal, and enemy-to-lover.
